Welcome to Apple Blossom Roots Quilt Co. My name is Andrea, and I am the owner/sewer/quilter behind Apple Blossom Roots Quilt Co. I have been quilting/sewing for 6+ years. My husband surprised me for my 30th birthday with my very first sewing machine, and I fell in love instantly.
Thanks for taking the time to visit Apple Blossom Roots Quilt Co. How did the name Apple Blossom Roots come to be? My family and I moved back to our hometown of West Michigan in the summer of 2022. Before that, we spent several years as an active-duty military family. During this time, we moved several different times, to several different states/countries, and lived in several different houses. It was an adventure, to say the least, but we also longed to settle. Though we love to travel and experience new things, we specifically longed to put roots down in Michigan, where we both grew up. Roots have been so important to me, especially as our children grow. Now, our dream of putting down roots is officially our reality as we settle into our dream forever home in the gorgeous area of Sparta, MI. Finally, Apple Blossoms are the official Michigan state flower, and as a floral enthusiast, it was perfect match to our roots. Even more perfect, our new home is surrounded by the most gorgeous apple orchids of West Michigan.
